I don’t know about you, but I work hard every day. All day long and at night when I come home all I see and hear is news about protests, murders, mayhem, all kinds of problems and then there are the movies, shows, sitcoms, and award shows full of political BS.  ON SUNDAY and maybe, Monday and Thursday...

One can only call the NFL owners cowards. It’s quite simple; the NFL players are employees, nothing more, nothing less; they are paid to do a job, play football the very best they can – and they are paid millions to do it. All the NFL owners had to do was to tell the players, “All players must be on the field and stand for the Anthem, or be fired, and with the proviso that no other NFL team will hire the offender.” That’s all; an owners right to set down rules for employees while on the job. BUT NO! They mollycoddled this small group and insulted the intelligence of the American people even further by allowing these misfits to hide from sight in the locker room - then allowing these hectoring, fatuous individuals to come out on the field after America's Anthem is absolutely disgusting!

If I could draw I would paint a picture of all these NFL owners on their hands and knees kissing the asses of these players while they were laughing all the way to the bank. Shame on you for being fools.

Free speech has nothing to do with this situation; kneeling or any other demonstration by players would be a violation of corporate rules. No players, while on or off the field, are allowed to embarrass the game, the team or the corporation.

Players who want to demonstrate or speak for social or political causes can do so in venues other than the football field or within the confines of the stadium area.

These rules are not complicated, overbearing, or abusive; they do not restrict free to this country that makes you rich speech in any way, they merely leave football to be played on the football field and enjoyed by fans who pay big money to see their favorite teams compete. Fans don’t want to be preached at or to or have to put-up with demonstration: At home, it’s bad enough have to deal with commercials; no one wants to put up with unpatriotic social or political displays that interfere with the aspects of enjoying the game.

NFL OWNERS, GET SOME INTEGRITY, SOME CHARACTER, SOME PRIDE IN AMERICA, GET SOME GUTS AND AN IDEA OF THE RESPONSIBILITY YOU HAVE AS AN NFL OWNER AND BOSS TO THIS COUNTRY THAT MAKES YOU RICH.
