Sanctuary City Mayors Must Go To Prison
Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel thumbing his nose at Federal Law
By Edmond X. Ramirez, Sr.

Now that President Trump is in the White House, we have seen what he can do and how much he has accomplished. President Trump campaigned on law and order; Sanctuary Cities and now a State, are in blatant violation of Federal Law.  It will behoove him to have U.S.A.G. Sessions file federal criminal charges against all of those mayors and others (regardless of who they are, or what position they hold), who protect and support sanctuary cities, as well as the State of California's, Governor. They must be indicted and tried.  There is absolutely no need for Special Counsel; an open trial will expose everything necessary to convict them.  These mayors and others are accessories or accessories after the fact for crimes committed by illegal aliens under their protection vis-à-vis Sanctuary Cities. Even to the point of charging them with murder, obstruction of justice, plus various and sundry other crimes associated with all of the criminal activities in which illegals are or were involved.

Handcuffing these Mayors and Governor and carting them off to jail, sends a message, that no matter who you are what you are, justice will be served. This method also serves two purposes; 1. It is the quickest way to stop this socio-political, dangerous nonsense. 2. It reassures the American public that even the most elite, do not receive special illegal treatment as they did under the obama administration. Handcuffs send a powerful message to all Americans, that we are a nation of laws under President's  Trumps Administration.

As a result of the defiance of federal law, just how many assaults, rapes, murders and other crimes can be attributed to illegal immigrants protected by sanctuary cities. We are all familiar with the murder of Kathryn Steinle. Every single person involved with allowing the murderer of that young woman to go free, is an accessory to her death. All of the people involved, regardless of who they are, including law enforcement officers, judges, and mayors, etc., should be charged as accessories after the fact.

Certainly this would entail numerous people going to prison, or doing years of community service, but the defiance of federal law has caused this young woman’s death, and they should be held responsible and punished accordingly – regardless of the number that must pay for this heinous crime, or their position. If there is to be a 'real' rule of law in America, it must be shown by these persons going to prison. Americans are impatient to see the law do it's job.

Americans want to see these elites in handcuffs, showing that they are not privileged characters just because they are politicians. We have seen to much of that already.

These people are as guilty as the illegal aliens committing these crimes. It is unfathomable to accept what part of “legal” they do not understand. They must pay for their participation in defiance of the law. Various and sundry rationales were and are used to justify and establish sanctuary cities. Regardless of whatever rationale was used to defy federal law, and in the face of which this murder occurred, they are guilty of that murder as much so as the man who pulled the trigger.

It is illegal for a person to rob a store, thereby, in getting caught, tried and convicted, the perpetrator ends up in prison. If someone waits for the robber in a getaway car and helps the robber drive away, they likewise are guilty as an accessory. Also, anyone knowing of the crime and providing money for gasoline for the getaway car is also an accessory.

To knowingly, willfully, assiduously, defy the law with such arrogance as to think these mayors and others are above the law, is pernicious and dangerous to our society. It will certainly put many people in prison, should the government decide to uphold the law as is their mandate. There is no excuse as to why these people should not be tried, convicted and put into prison.

If we are to show the world that America is a nation of laws, that no one is above the law and that we have real justice, then, every single one of these people who defied the law, concerning illegal immigrants, must be charged, tried, found guilty and imprisoned. Officers of the law, judges, mayors, and anyone else involved in supporting illegal aliens in any way, or refusing to obey federal law concerning illegal aliens, is knowingly and willfully obstructing justice.

You can be assured that there will be a tremendous hue and cry of protest against such action, particularly from those and their friends who benefit from sanctuary cities. From Hispanics, we can expect organizations such as La Raza to be at the forefront of such demonstrations. Their rationale for flooding America with immigrants, particularly from Mexico, is self-serving.

There is no consideration for the United States of America in this process. There is only their desire to enhance the Hispanic community and the voting power which comes from that influx of Hispanic voters for the Democrat party and those involved with organization like La Raza.

Why does America have to suffer the financial burden of providing healthcare, education, food, clothing, insurance, transportation, and housing, as well as all of the ancillary and concomitant government services necessary to bring these benefits to fruition? How much of this will become continuing welfare participation? America already has millions of people who've been on welfare all their lives ... the welfare generations: now, there are those who despite the burden of responsibility to America, blithely insist on increasing the burden on American taxpayers. The selfishness of these illegal acts, must end!

There’s an old saying, “Don’t worry about what color you’re going to paint the barn, till after you put out the fire.” America faces a $20 trillion (fire) deficit that is affecting every American, and particularly the lower-income and middle-class. There are thousands of immigrants in this country who are legally struggling through the process of becoming American citizens. In years past, people that came to America wanted to become Americans. Immigrants that came to America did not want to change America fundamentally. They didn’t want America to conform, abide by or accept Sharia law or change our American endemic and ethos.

Teddy Roosevelt in 1907, wrote the following concerning what an immigrant should be;

“In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people." [sic]

“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

That quote does not oblige America to take in those persons who become an unwanted burden, criminals, or those who will not pledge allegiance to America, and who refused to abide by the American way of life and that of our Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Amectrans have no obligation to anyone who does not meet the criteria of the intentions of Teddy Roosevelt’s 1907 discourse on American citizenship, particularly when stating, “In the first place…this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American….” Far too many immigrants and illegal immigrants who refuse, or do not intend to accept Roosevelt’s 1907 criteria, are here at our sufferance, but the time has come to rid America of these parasites, malcontents, criminals and threats to our society.

President-elect Donald Trump is now burdened with the task of solving the immigration problem, as he has promised to do. The first part is simple, deport every illegal alien, regardless of where they come from, who has committed a crime. The next issue is ... what do we do with all the other illegal aliens.
